NIFLAR PROJECT

Hi everyone!

As I told you in class, I'm taking part in an international project which uses online videogames -"Second Life" and "Open sim", for exemple- to learn languages. The program is called "NIFLAR" (Networked Interaction in Foreign Language Adquisition and Research).

I post the link to the website of NIFLAR just in case you are interested in learn more about the project. There are some videos of student interactions in Second Life. In these clips you can see how virtual worlds can be used as an educational tool (the students roleplaying with native speakers).
